Hold Me Closer, Necromancer by Lish McBride. 

The story tells about the guy Sam who lives normal life, working at a fast food joint and hanging out with a close group of friends. But once he crosses paths with the local necromancer – a guy called Douglas, who recognises Sam as a fellow necromancer with latent powers.  Unfortunately for Sam, Douglas is not the type of person who likes to share his territory and he delivers an ultimatum: Sam has one week to decide whether to join Douglas and work for him or face the consequences. So Sam must learn to control his power in order to defeat a powerful and corrupt rival and save his friends.

   I don't know why, but supernatural things are always infatuates me, so I think that it would be interesting for me to read this book. Also, I like the genre of the book - mystery. 

Terra Nova

The series is initially set in 2149, a time when overpopulation and declining air quality worldwide threatens all life on Earth. After scientists discover a rift in spacetime, they begin sending people in a series of "pilgrimages" 85 million years into Earth's Cretaceous past, to a different "time stream". The series focuses primarily on the lives of the Shannon family (Jim, his wife Elisabeth, and their three children Josh, Maddy, and Zoe) as they join the Terra Nova colony in the prehistoric past. 

   I would like to watch this TV show because I'm really fond of science-fiction genre. Also, the theme of "apocalypse" is interesting and maybe I'm mad, but I think that most of this TV show is truth of what will happen with Earth in the future.

American Horror Story

The story focuses on a family which moves to a shabby mansion in Los Angeles. The reason of moving is that the main character fooled around with the young student, but his wife caught them. It was decided to try to keep a family and they moved to another city, in this ill-starred house. Soon they find out that this house is occupied by ghosts. There are many strange characters from the first series like the patient maniac, the housemaid who the wife sees as the terrible elderly woman, and the husband as the beautiful young person, trying to tempt him, and neighbors with the whims.

   I'd like to see this TV show too, because of paranormal things again. Also, I like to watch the development of intrigues and family wrangles.

Resident Evil

A series of bizarre murders have occurred on the outskirts of Raccoon City, with signs of cannibalism on the victims' remains. The Raccoon Police Department's Special Tactics And Rescue Service (S.T.A.R.S.) are assigned to investigate the murders. S.T.A.R.S. is divided into two teams: Alpha and Bravo. Bravo team is sent first, but after contact with them is lost, Alpha team is sent to investigate their disappearance. 

   I wouldn't mind to play this game because I saw a Resident Evil film series which based on this game and I really liked it. Zombies, blood, deaths - that's cool! :D

   This European painting titled Still Life is a work of unknown artist from France. Presumable date of creation is late 19th century. The picture painted on canvas by oil. Its size 10 7/8 x 9 7/8 inches (i. e. 27.6 x 25.1 cm). Currently this brushwork is in the Philadelphia Museum of Art, in John G. Johnson Collection. 

   The picture interprets to us a spirit of madness and art, reigned over the boulevards of old France,  which was accompanied by tobacco, alcohol and women. France of 19th century became a shelter for outcasts of all Europe. Even then, the artists of the old school thought that the dissolute lifestyle isn't good, and drunken crowd of migrants, fights, etc.,  really piqued them. As we can see, the artist, who took the brush and draw this picture, sought to show one of the main human vices in all its  dreariness, which, unfortunately, modern in our days. Laying on the dark color layer by layer on the canvas, he built a gloomy, eerie design out of classical elements, not even knowing that his name will be forgotten.
